Original drawings by American composer Charles T. Griffes, probably of the Hudson River and woods surrounding Tarrytown, N.Y., where he lived and worked.
Watercolor shows a river and its rocky shore with a walk leading to a dockside building, a promontory in center background. One black and white drawing shows trees in a dense woods and the other a decaying dock-side building. The latter two are signed "C.T.G. '09"
