Statement of responsibility: Crank pinx't, Faber fecit.
Content: Three-quarter length portrait of Thomas Caverley, died ca. 1745.
Content: Standing, to slight left, looking right, left hand on table, right hand at waist. Wearing periwig, justaucorps with large cuffs, shirt with ruffles at wrist. A sheet of paper on table with one line of music and Feuillet notation.
