Description
Spontaneous trance ritual which developed out of a joking dance in which men and women participated. As the women clap and sing, the men move in a circle, touching the women to extract sickness and evil from them. Special attention is paid to a sick woman and child. Several men fall into trance and are revived through smoke, water, and massage. The last section of the film is recorded at a slower speed.
