The content provides a brief introduction to and history of the Judson Dance Theater, narrated by Mikhail Baryshnikov, as well as commentary from Judson choreographers on past and present work. Choreographic works listed for performance include: "For the Love of Rehearsal" and "The Matter" (David Gordon); "Satisfyin' Lover" and "Flat" (Steve Paxton); "Carnation" and "Concerto" (Lucinda Childs); "Exit" and "Single Duet" (Deborah Hay); "Chair/Pillow" and "Talking Solo" (Yvonne Rainer); "Huddle"and "Scramble" (Simone Forti) and "Foray Forêt" (Trisha Brown).
