Description
Documentary on the men's dances associated with the Bole-maru religious cult of the Pomo Indians of central California. A brief history of the cult is followed by preparations for and performances of the dances. Essie Parrish, a cult leader, explains the dances, which include Toto, Lehuye, Big head, and Ball dance.
