Content: [Typewriten attached to the picture:] "S/10167 - A group picture, made at the White House, Washington, D.C., of four important figures in the life and history of the United States during recent years. All have died, Mr. Bryan, being the last to go, when he died of heart Disease, at Dayton, Tennessee, yesterday./ The goup shows, left to right: - Andrew Carnegie, head of the companies that formed the United States Steel Company; William Jennings Bryan, who just died; J.J. Hill, Railway President and one of the country's greatest developers; and John Mitchell, President of the United Mine Workers of America, and one of the greatest powers in labor the country ever knew. 7/27/25."
