Content: Some illuminated initials include stylized animal figures.
Content: Large painted initials in many colors at opening of each book. 2-line and 3-line red and blue initials with opposing penwork extending far into borders. Name of book and chapter number in red and blue. Red daubs as placemarkers. Rubrics.
Content: De Ricci dates this to the 14th century; Dr. Guest to the 13th or 14th centuries.
