Ownership: Armorial bookplate of J. Mee Mathew. Wilberforce Eames obtained it for his library (Brooklyn, NY) in 1926 from N. F. McGirr. Bequeathed by Mr. Eames, 1940.
Content: De Ricci, 2313. De Ricci, Supplement, 329. Chart by Dr. G.B. Guest.
Content: Opening initial shows Jerome writing, in cardinal's habit. Miniature of Christ in Majesty, f.4.
Content: 6-7 line initials in pink, green, blue, gold. Some border decoration -- see f. 1. Alternating 3-line blue and red initials. Occasional 5-line blue and red initials with opposing penwork. Rubrics, placemarkers, book names and chapter numbers.
Content: Dr. Guest's chart places this manuscript in either Germany (as De Ricci held), or possibly Italy. Notes written in the manuscript indicate that the main text was finished in 1458, and the Interpretation of Hebrew names in 1463.
Content: 49-50 lines in two columns, ruled in pen. Interpretation of Hebrew names in three columns.
