Ownership : From the collections of Friedrich de Schennis and of Arnold Mettler Specker of St. Gall. Obtained in 1926 from W.M. Voynich by Wilberforce Eames for his library (Brooklyn, NY). Bequeathed by Eames, 1940.

Content : 6-line opening blue initial on red and gold field with gold fruit. 2-line alternating red and blue initials. Rubrics. Red placemarkers.

Content : De Ricci and Dr. Guest place this manuscript ca. 1500. Note pasted into end of manuscript gives date as ca. 1400.

Content : 28 long lines, ruled in light pencil, catchwords and quire letters/foliation visible. 7 quires of ten folios each, plus 3 folios.
