Notes
Ownership: Initials GM, GY and BL appear throughout the manuscript, along with motto "Je me plains..." (f. 184v). Bookplate of Francis Jack (1787-1880), second earl of Kilmorey. Purchased from Lathrop C. Harper, 1922.
Content: De Ricci, 1337. Library dossier. Chart by Dr. G.B. Guest.
Content: 15 long lines per page, ruled in red (brown?) pen. Some prickmarks and traces of some catchwords visible. Quaternions seem to be the norm, but most catchwords no longer extant.
Content: Parchment
Content: 18 large and 2 small miniatures; 2 historiated initials; full-page and lateral borders decorated with grotesques.
Content: 1-line, 2-line and 4-line gold initials on black, red and blue backgrounds. Gold, black, red and blue linefillers. Rubrics.
Content: Notes in dossier state that this is a Franco-Norman manuscript, use of Amiens. Another note in the dossier raises the possibility that this manuscript is a nineteenth-century forgery.
