Notes
Content : Dictionary Catalog, 906.

Content : 28 lines per page in two columns, ruled in extremely light pencil. Catchwords and occasional prickings visible. Collation: One quire of eight, followed by one of ten, followed by one of eight, followed by five quires of ten, followed by one of eight.

Content : Parchment

Content : Small miniature of the crucifixion (f. 10v) and historiated initial of the Eucharist (f. 55).

Content : 2-line blue and red initials with opposing color penwork. Rubrics, red slashes and red or blue symbols as placemarkers. Large pink initials on gold and blue field, with green and orange.

Content : The Dictionary Catalog dates this to the 15th century and places it in Florence. A pencil note in the manuscript dates it to ca. 1460 and places it Ferrara (Borso d'Este school?).

Content : 1 scribe

Content : Some pages early in the ms. possibly have been mixed up; for example, catchword "Exultate" appears f. 15v, which is not at the end of a quire; but f. 45, at the beginning of quire 6, opens with "Exultate" -- and there is no catchword on preceding verso.

Content: Manuscript is foliated 1-81. However, both the front and back pastedown and f. i appear to be part of the original quire structure (see layout), and thus there are actually 84 folios. But, for convenience, the existing foliation is used here.
