Content: 60 photographs by Djamal, Alfred Hudson, and the Lembaga Purbakala dan Peninggalan Nasional (The National Archeological Institute of Indonesia) of buildings, paintings, and sculptures, most of fairly recent date, and lamaks (palm-leaf altar panels). Of special interest to dance scholars are the cloth paintings depicting the Calonarang story, from the collection in Mangkunagaran, Surakarta, Java.
