Content : 119 photographs of antiquities, mainly architecture and sculpture, from east Java, taken by Allen Atwell, Claire Holt, and the Lembaga Purbakala dan Peninggalan Nasional (The National Archeological Institute of Indonesia), and Guy A. Weill. Sites represented are: Ardimulia, Bajang Ratu, Bangil, Bara, Candi Belahan, Desa Kretek, Gondang Lor, Gresik, Candi Gunung Gangsir, Candi Jabung, Candi Jago, Candi Jalatunda, Candi Jawi, Jebuk, Jedong, Jember, Gunung Kawi, Candi Kedaton, Kediri, Candi Kidal, Lamongan, Mleri, Mojoagung, Mojokerto, Nganjuk, Candi Panataran, Panggih, Gunung Pananggungan, Petungombo, Plumbangan, Pongo, and Candi Rimbi. (Note: "Candi" denotes a temple). A Buddhist statue of unknown provenance is filed under "Origin unknown".
