Content: "New York County Court House, to be erected in new Civic Centre, along Centre St. north of the Municipal Building, from plans by Guy Lowell, on site having area of 115 city lots, costing $7,568,500; to be surrounded by a circular street 140 ft. wide, with boulevard 125 ft. wide leading to Manhattan Bridge. The building, to cost from $17,000,000 to $25,000,000, will be 700 ft. in diameter and 200 ft. high; four main entrances, each 43 ft. wide and four 13 ft. wide, leading to central hall 150 ft. in diameter ; from which elevators reach the upper floors ; between the elevators and the court rooms will be an annular air-shaft 32 ft. wide; 16 court rooms on each floor, each two stories high, opening on the outside of the building, and a gallery opening on th air-shaft, with counsel and witness rooms under the gallery; plan inspired by the Coliseum."--printed on border.
