Content: Printed on border: "Description of the head-dress and directions for its execution. The head-dress of which our engravings represent the back and front views, has just been introduced by Croisat, the famous Parisian coiffeur. The marked favor it has met with in the French capital promises to insure its favorable adoption in this country when our winter reunions render variety desirable in the style of head-dress suited to evening costume." Written on border: "Mar. 1849" Foxing on image.
