Notes
Content : Printed on border: "Apart from the interest of the story and the charm of the acting and the music, Mr. Oscar Asche's 'musical tale of the East' at His Majesty's is remarkable for its gorgeous costumes and exquisite stage pictures. As a spectacle 'Chu chin chow' eclipses the wonders of 'Kismet,' and offers a profusion of beautiful scenes rich in Oriental colour. The first two acts contain five scenes each, and the third, three, thus giving any amount of variety. They were painted by Messrs. Joseph and Phil Harker. ...The lower two photographs on this page show (left to right) Miss Frances Torrens and Miss Patricia Clive."
