Content: Printed on border: "Messrs. Watherston and Son, of London, supply us with the elegant object represented at the head of this plate ; the design is exceedingly novel and fanciful and well worked out. By the same eminent firm is another ornament in a totally diferent style, classically elegant, namely the brooch with five pearl drops, to the left below..." "That above on the left is a curiosity ; it represents one of a few specimens of jewellery sent from Queensland to the International Exhibition of 1872 in London…" Includes additional text.
