In the south a band of savages fell upon the quiet home of Ann Hutchinson, at 'Annie's Hoeck,' now known as Pelham Neck, near New Rochelle, and she and her family, excepting one granddaughter who was carried away captive, were murdered . . ." Written on border: "Near Pelham Bay, NY."
