Content: Foliation confusing -- often first digit missing, i.e. vol. 2 begins with f. 56 (actually 256) and vol. 3 with 22 (actually 122). Two parts are foliated seperately.
Content: 45 lines in two columns, ruled in faint brown ink. Catchwords visible. Collation: In volume 1, I-XXXI (8 folios each); XXXII (6 folios). In volume 2: XXXII (2 folios); XXXIII-XLV (8 folios each); XLVI (6 folios).

Content: Miniatures showing biblical scenes; figures appear against diapered or gold backgrounds.
Content: Large blue and red initials on gold. 2-line and 1-line gold initials on red and blue fields. Rubrics. Book name in red and blue. On pages with miniatures, border design with vines, leaves, flowers. Historiated initial.
Content: Note in dossier indicates that paleographical evidence places part 1 in second quarter of 14th century, with borders added and miniatures updated in the 15th century. Parts 1 and 2 have separate foliation; part 2 begins in the middle of vol. 2 with f. 1.
Content: Translation into French of #tHistoria Scholastica# of Peter Comestor -- Bible with glosses.
