Content: Possibly depicts the transformation of Cadmus into a dragon, or winged serpent, near the end of his life.
Content: Written on border: "A winged Cadmus, or an ichthyomorphic Ceyx, his body terminating in the tail of an eel. A palmiped or swimming bird stands among sea anemonees [sic]."
