Content : Caption: He would fain have filled his Belly with the Husks that the Swine did eat. St. Luke Ch. 15 V. 16.

Content: Depicts the prodigal son as he sits against a tree, his clothes tattered, shoes torn, hair unkempt; his arms are crossed over his chest. The distressed man rests near what appears to be a farm and is surrounded by hogs and other farm animals. Two girls look and listen from behind a fence.
