Content : Written on border: "The muse Thalia or Euterpe holds a casket and a crown of ivy. Erato holds a primitively formed lyre with the carapace of a tortoise. Behind her is an Ionic temple. This plate is part of #72 showing Apollo, Marsyas and Calliope. Louvre."
