Ownership: Dedicated by scribe to church in Great Lavra of St. Athanasios on Mt. Athos; Charles F. Gunther of Chicago; sale by American Art Association 1925; library of Wilberforce Eames of Brooklyn, NY; bequeathed by Eames to NYPL in 1940.
