Content: Costume design for a woman. Full-length facing front, looking slightly to right; weight on right leg, left foot pointed to side, right arm raised in opposition, left arm to side. Wearing a narrow, full-length dress with short over-skirt in the manner of a Roman costume; a helmet-type hat with plumes; ribbons on wrists and in hair; and holding a mask in left hand. A long scarf billows out from the shoulders and is caught up in right hand. A balcony with two men dancing on left side comprises the background. No. 41 appears at top center and top right corner.
