Description
Shows the activities of the Merce Cunningham Dance Company, April to June 1967. During the course of rehearsals for a new work at the Cunningham studio at 498 Third Avenue, New York, Merce Cunningham briefly discusses his ideas, and several dancers speak of their work as members of the company. The work in rehearsal is never shown in completed form in the film, but was later danced in concert under the title Scramble. Featured dancers are Merce Cunningham, Carolyn Brown, Barbara Lloyd, Sandra Neels, Yseult Riopelle, Valda Setterfield, Albert Reid, and Gus Solomons, Jr.
