    Content : Binding, of the seventeenth century, in the foliated styleof the Eves, of brown morocco, gilt. Sides, within three fillets, covered with geometrical designs forming small compartments, surrounded by scrolls or spirals and branches of laurel and palm, and filled with small tools. In center of both sides, a plain oval containing arms withthe motto "Av. Ciel. Ha. Le. Nid." Back. without bands, tooled in style similar to sides. With gilt edges.

    Content : Illustrations: Engraved title, unsigned; second title dated "Antuerpiæ...1596," signed "M. de Vos inuentor, Hieronymus Wierx fecit"; 153 plates designed or engraved by, and signed: Ioan, Anton and Hierony. mus Wierx, Martinde Vos, Adrian Collaert and Carel de Mallery. Plates carrytwo sets of numbers; pl. 153 bound between no. 149-150.
