Reproduction of a painting by Sir John Lavery, now in the possession of the Tate Gallery, London.
Depicts Anna Pavlova, by the small pond in her garden at Ivy House, in a pose from the final moments of Michel Fokine's solo dance The dying swan. Costume in painting includes a sapphire brooch, instead of the ruby brooch which she invariably wore.
Autographed in pencil, lower right, by Anna Pavlova and John Lavery.
