First 2 minutes represent an excerpt from a radio program "Music in review" in which George Jellinek talks about composer Jean-Baptiste Lully, followed by an informal conversation between Peggy Daniel and Michael Tilson Thomas who speaks about technicalities of projecting, interpreting, conducting and teaching music, his schedule, recounts separate incidents, makes a few personal observations, and such. Occasionally, remarks from a third voice, possibly belonging to Margaret Carson, can be heard. In the background there is a loud traffic noise pointing to an open window and New York as a place for this encounter.
