Shows the regions intended for the post-Removal Cherokee and later divided among a number of tribes relocated to what would become eastern Oklahoma. Prime meridians: Greenwich and Washington, D.C. Covers parts of present states of Kansas, Missouri, Arkansas, and Oklahoma. Includes a numeric and chronologic schedule of Cherokee cessions. In top margin: Bureau of Ethnology, Fifth Annual Report, PL IX.
