Physical Description
Videocassette
Extent: 1 videocassette (VHS) (102 min.) : sound, color ; 1/2 in.
Description
Mikhail Baryshnikov and White Oak Dance Project perform Past Forward, a retrospective and celebration of Judson Dance. Live works alternate with video sequences created by Charles Atlas. Most works are bracketed with a quick description by its choreographer. Public participation is part of the program: local dancers and community members take part in "Satisfyin Lover", "Huddle", "Exit", and "The Matter". Poor visual quality. This recording is incomplete: it does not contain Baryshnikov's narration or the Judson film and usually, "Scramble" and "Chair" would be included.
