Description
Guest artist Billy Wilson teaches ballet and jazz to a class of teenaged girls, accompanied by guest percussionist Bobby Taylor (first 50 min. of cassette 1). With the class as an audience, he then discusses his long and varied career as a dancer, choreographer, and teacher in the U.S. and Europe, including his work in classical ballet, jazz dancing, and musicals. In conclusion, he offers some advice to aspiring young performers. Bobby Taylor, a musician studying veterinary medicine, speaks briefly about his own training, interests, and goals. Following the program, Dyann Robinson is seen dancing a solo in the studio.
