DescriptionThis video shows Sim Montha (additional spelling Muntha) working on embroidery of a costume for the ballet. She discusses the difficulty of finding wood to make the frames for embroidery. Showing how costumes are created, she talks about the process, discusses how patterns were used in the past and the different methods today; where materials come from; who does embroidery for dance costumes; and how she began embroidering after her dance career. She displays embroidery patterns and discusses the colors of costumes.
