Manuscript supposedly in the hand of Abel.
Content: Originally bound in leather; label from leather binding preserved and supposedly contains signature: C. F. Abel. Joseph Coggins signed his name and dated the label: April 8th, 1801. Presented by Coggins's widow, Mrs. H. Coggins, to Edward F. Rimbault and dated May 10, 1866 (dedication page opposite first page of music).
