Content: Charles Le Maire designed costumes, with Mark Mooring, for the 1925 Greenwich Village Follies, having designed the costumes for the revue's more famous rival, the Ziegfeld Follies, a year earlier. He began his design career for theater in the 1920's and later worked in film, becoming the director of wardrobe at 20th Century Fox Studios from 1942-1960.
