Content: Binding, 16th century German, of blind-stamped white leather.
Content: Comprises 26 copper engravings, 13 woodcuts and a printed title within an engraved border which is signed by Perrissin who probably made the original designs. in collaboration with Jacques Tortorel he executed themon wood and copper. Both woodcuts and engravings exist for most of the subjects. In this copy all are engravings except [4-7, 10-11, 14-15, 18, 27, 29, 32 and 37] which are woodcuts. Jacques Le Challeux was probably the woodcutter.
