Content: Collection consists of Taintor's letters to his brothers and sisters, poem, map, photographs, and printed matter. Letters, 1865-1870, describe his trip to China, daily life in China, travels to various port cities, local customs, and business affairs. (Typed transcript of letters available.) Also, a manuscript outline map of Peking in 1866, two photographs, obituaries, Sabbath School certificates, pamphlet, and clippings.
