Includes manuscripts of American, British, and European historical, literary, artistic, musical, and scientific figures, and royalty, are represented. Individuals represented include John Quincy Adams, Hector Berlioz, Lord Byron, DeWitt Clinton, Samuel Taylor Coleridge, Charles Douglass, King Ferdinand and Queen Isabella of Spain, Benjamin Franklin, Victor Hugo, Abraham Lincoln, George Washington, Emile Zola, and others.
