Popularly known as "Utopia," Thomas More's "Libellus vere aureus ..." is a fictional work of socio-political satire. Written in Latin, it was printed in Leuven in 1516, and, after revisions by More, in Basel in 1518. The first published English translation did not appear until 1551, in an edition by Ralph Robinson.
