Content: Peterhof (in German) known as Petrodvorets from 1944. It was built for a summer residence for the Tsar during Peter the Great's era. Peterhof is some 15 miles away from St. Petersburg, and halfway between the city and the naval fortress of Kronstadt.Fotografii, E.P.Vishniakov.
