Collection Data

"Plain Tales from the Hills" is Rudyard Kipling's first collection of short stories, in which he creates sketches of aspects of life in British India. The hills of the title refer to the Hill Station at Simla, the summer retreat of the British Raj, in which a number of the stories are set.
