Content: These modern color slide reproductions of lantern slides illustrate 62 popular songs. Nearly all sets begin with anillustrated title page giving composer, lyricist, and photographer credits. Several of these also give date of song, ranging from 1909 to 1911, but most are undated. About 2/3 of the sets end with a slide showing the text ofthe song's chorus. No music and no other words are included. The illustrations are chiefly photographs of young men and women, apparently acting out the words or sense of the songs.
