Description
The Arctic Regions was printed in London in 1873 in a limited edition of three hundred copies. It is illustrated with photographs taken by William Bradford (1823-1892) on a three-month art expedition to Greenland, with descriptive and narrative text by the artist. The subject matter includes landscape and topographical views, as well as views of ships and portraits of indigenous peoples in the region.
