Schomburg in 1926. It includes NYPL's bookplate of Arthur A. Schomburg Negro Collection pasted on page [2] of cover and inscribed in ink on the half-title page: "To my dear friend, Arthur A. Schomburg, valued collaborator in this and other projects, Alain Leroy Locke. December 3, 19[25]"
