Date: Published, probably in Rome, in 1589 or later. The dedicatees, Flavia Peretti Orsina [sic] and Orsina Peretti Colonna, married in that year into the Orsini and Colonna families. Assigned by Lipperheide to ca. 1600 (no place) and by Colas to Venice, ca. 1570.
Content: Comprises etched t. p. and 39 etchings, all but 17 with Guerra's monogram. Each depicts in profile the head and shoulders of a lady from a different city. The name of the city and an attribute (e.g. Tivolese, fastosa) accompany each figure, appearing in the ornamental border which is repeated throughout.
