Wolfstein; or, The mysterious bandit: a terrific romance ... to which is added, The bronze statue, a pathetic tale

Collection Data

Description
"Wolfstein" is a slightly altered and much abridged version of P. B. Shelley's 1811 novel, St. Irvyne; this chapbook was probably published shortly after J. Stockdale's 1822 re-issue of St. Irvyne. "The Bronze Statue" appeared (for apparently the first time in print) as part of the "Annals of Public Justice" in The European Magazine of May 1820, signed "V" [i.e., Anna Jane Vardill].
