DescriptionLive recording of burning pine cones and needles to be used as a component in Inlets (1977), by John Cage. In reel no. 1, the master recording, the left channel has a lower dynamic and frequency range; possibly a technical problem at the time the recording was made. Reel no. 2 appears to be a mono dub, recorded at a higher volume and made to compensate for the problems in the master.
