Notes

Content: Printed on border: "Greeley Square, named in honor of Horace Greeley, founder of the 'New York Tribune' and Presidential candidate, whose statue near the Elavated Railroad Station was the gift of the printers of the United States. Sometimes called the 'Upper End of the Rialto,' because actors frequent it, but already become a great business-centre. At the left is Hotel Imperial. Near the centre is Union Dime Savings Institution, founded 1859. A thriving savings-bank. Charles E. Sprague, President. Over 80,000 depositors. Assets, $25,000,000. At the right, Manhattan Theatre and Trainor's Restaurant."
