Abstract

Leida Snow announces the 1991 Deutsche Grammophon release of the final, revised, version of the operetta "Candide" (music composed by Leonard Bernstein, based on the novella of the same name by Voltaire), the last production where Bernstein conducted his own music (he died in 1990).
