Content: "This picture shows the junction of the North and East Rivers, together with the present bridges connecting the city with the Borough of Brooklyn. It represents a true view of the 'down-toen section,' America's financial centre, and the headquarters of the commercial, manufacturing, shipping, mining and other interests. The city itself consists of five boroughs--Manhattan, Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens and Richmond, and covers and area of 326 3/4 square miles, with a population of 4,019,000 (according to the census of 1905)."--printed on verso.
