DescriptionDocumentary on Leonid Kozlov and Valentina Kozlova, illustrated with rehearsal and performance footage of their touring program "Bolshoi to Broadway," recorded in Denver. Through interviews with the Kozlovs and commentaries by dance critic George Jackson, the documentary looks back upon the couple's careers in Russia, their defection to the United States in September 1979, and their experiences since then, including their membership in the New York City Ballet and Kozlova's performances in the Broadway musical On Your Toes.
